A new colloquium organized by the French language team of the Faculty of Letters, History and Theology at the University of the West in partnership with the French Institute in Timișoara brought together, on Friday, March 19, participants from five continents, under the theme "Frontier, frontiers".
In the opening, university professors Jean-Marie Schaeffer and Astrid von Busekist from the School of Advanced Studies in Social Sciences and Political Sciences in Paris, respectively, gave lectures, two of the most prestigious higher education institutions in France.
The plenary conferences continued with the presentation of Simona Modreanu from the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University in Iasi, and the end of the event was held under the auspices of the French Embassy in Bucharest, with the intervention of Mrs. Hélène Roos, cultural advisor and director of the French Institutes in Romania.
