The Western University of Timișoara announces the completion of the project entitled "Support for the West University of Timișoara in the context of SARS-COV-2"- ID 143325, project financed by the Large Infrastructure Operational Program, within the call for projects POIM/964/10/1/Supporting crisis relief in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic and its social consequences.
The project took place over a period of 21 months, November 2020 – July 2022, and had as its general objective the provision of an adequate capacity to manage the health crisis, by reducing the risk of the spread of SARS-CoV-2 infection in the public university education system , by equipping the West University of Timișoara with equipment for the disinfection and sterilization of air such as nebulizers.
Through the implementation of the project, 10 locations within the Western University of Timișoara were equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and technological equipment, such as access and control terminals, incorporated with facial recognition and temperature detectors.
The total value of the financing contract was 1.203.275,43 lei and represented 100% non-refundable financing.
