Together with the permanent partners from the socio-economic and administrative environment, the entire UVT community celebrated on Saturday, November 21, the award of excellence, carrying on the tradition of respect for the institution's past, present and future.
The XNUMXth edition of the UVT Awards Gala, an annual event dedicated to sciences, arts and sports, took place again this time with emotions, in the same spirit of elegance and good taste as before, although in the current context not we were allowed to meet face to face.
Broadcast live from the Aula Magna "Ioan Curea" of UVT, with a large virtual audience, the UVT Awards Gala 2020 conveyed the appreciation of the special results obtained by the members of the academic community of UVT, as well as the services brought to the university by other people or institutions. During the Gala, ten prizes named after personalities who marked the history of the university, contributing to the development of academic culture in the western part of the country, were awarded, including six prizes for different fields of science, arts and sports, two prizes for contribution to the implementation of the policies of the University of the West and two awards for the contribution to the increase of the UVT's prestige on a national and international level.
