The fourth edition of the International Ocean Art Festival 2021 event on the theme Life – Ocean – Future (October 2-8, 2021 – Jeju, South Korea), realized with the support of the Asian Federation of Arts, Culture and Sciences – South Korea, took place through a sustained and commendable effort of the organizers in a period strongly marked by the limitations imposed by safety measures (COVID-19). IOAF is a tremendous opportunity for us and the younger generations to better understand the importance of protecting the Ocean as the foundation of life, to communicate and project through art and design the sad reality of now and hopefully a better reality of tomorrow.
During the exhibition event, a series of prizes were awarded as follows, in the categories dedicated to professional designers and artists, distinctions were awarded - Silver Conch Award, Bronze Conch Award, Special Award and Excellence Award and FAD teaching staff and students enrolled in the Design specialization (bachelor and master) obtained:

During the International Ocean Art Festival 2021 event, over 400 works from 33 countries were received and following the selection, works from: USA, South Korea, Romania, Argentina, China, Italy, Poland, Russia, Sweden, France were exhibited , Mexico, Israel, Cuba, Austria, Canada, Spain, Hungary, Turkey, Thailand, etc. FAD (Faculty of Arts and Design) students and teachers participated with artwork and design (graphic, jewelry, product).
