West University of Timişoara organize Sunday October 1, 2023 the sixth edition of the road running sports event "UVT Liberty Marathon”, which received the positive opinion from the Commission for Approval of Public Assemblies, the Traffic Commission and the Road Service of the Timiș County Police Inspectorate.
In order to avoid unwanted road events, we will cooperate with the Road Service of IPJ Timiș, the Local Police and the Gendarmerie to ensure the key points on the entire route.

The timed races (10.5 km, half marathon and marathon) are run on a 10.5 km loop officially measured and approved by the International Athletics Federation World Athletics.
