The Faculty of Law of the University of the West in Timișoara has this year as guest professor Mr. Rainer Kulms, Senior Research Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law in Hamburg (Germany), a constant and prestigious collaborator of the faculty.
Rainer Kulms will give a series of lectures on the topic Digital Markets – A Private Law Perspective, between May 9-12, 2022. The topics addressed will look at E-commerce, electronic contracts, smart contracts and technologies blockchain,as well as the legal implications of FinTech and artificial intelligence.
The courses will be held online, using the elearning.e-uvt.ro platform. Master's students of the European Union Law and Business Law programs, third- and fourth-year students, as well as doctoral students of the faculty are invited to participate in the lectures.
