On Tuesday, October 25, starting at 18 p.m., the Western University of Timișoara is waiting for you in the A01 amphitheater, at the conference "Between CERN and ELI, high-energy dialogues", a meeting with two prominent researchers: Călin Alexa and Ioan Dăncuș. The event will be moderated by prof. Dr. Ion Cotăescu.
Călin Alexa is a Scientific Researcher at the National Institute for Physics and Nuclear Engineering "Horia Hulubei", Group Leader of ATLAS Cluster Romania, scientific coordinator of some scholarship holders from the project, associate professor and doctoral supervisor at the University of Bucharest.
Ioan Dăncuș works at the National Institute for Nuclear Physics and Engineering - Horia Hulubei (IFIN - HH) Măgurele, within the ELI - NP (Extreme Light Infrastructure - Nuclear Physics) project and is in charge of implementing the largest laser in the world, made from funds European.

The "Connect to the Future" conference series involves the UVT faculties that study the exact sciences: physics, chemistry, biology, geography, mathematics, computer science and aims to popularize science by means of an interactive dialogue between a moderator, the public and a specialist from the faculties or a guest recognized by the scientific community.
This event is part of the "Timișoara 2023 - European Capital of Culture" Cultural Program, Oameni territory, Reflectiţii station, is financed by the Municipality of Timișoara through the Project Center, co-financed by the Timiș County Council.
