The Western University of Timișoara and the European Probation Confederation announce the 8th edition of International conference on multidisciplinary perspectives in the quasi-coercive treatment of criminals - SPECTO 2024 - "Designing the Future of the Criminal Justice System Through the Lens of Technology", organized between May 16-17, 2024, at the West University of Timișoara.

SPECTO has become a traditional international conference for researchers, teachers and practitioners, which has enjoyed the presence of distinguished guests, outstanding personalities of scientific and professional life at each edition. The purpose of the conference is to explore the intersections between justice, technology and offender treatment that lead to a more nuanced and effective approach to rehabilitation.
