Ambassador at UVT: HE Ms. Laurence Auer

The collaboration between France and Romania, as well as the good relations between the two countries, are well-known and permanently maintained among the academic community of the Western University of Timișoara.

A new opening event towards internationalization is organized within the "Ambassadors at UVT" series, by the presence of Her Excellency Ms. Laurence Auer, Ambassador of France in Romania.

Born in Geneva, with a degree in English language and literature and an MA in Arabic (University of Aix-Marseille), she obtained advanced degrees at the Institute of Political Studies in Aix-en-Provence and in Paris.
His Highness began his diplomatic career in 1984 within the Ministry of Culture, going on to act as Head of Mission within the Directorate of Development Policies, within the United Nations Directorate,
as well as at the office of the Secretary of State next to the Prime Minister of France, responsible for environmental issues.

Second Secretary at the Permanent Representation of France to the European Communities in Brussels and spokesperson at the European Commission in Brussels, Mrs. Laurence Aues is currently the Ambassador of France in Romania and in this capacity he will give the lecture at UVT with the title "La France et la Roumanie dans le context européen de relance".

The event, moderated by university professor Dr. Mădălin Bunoiu, will take place in the "Ioan Curea" Aula Magna of UVT and will be broadcast LIVE on the university's Facebook page.
