West University of Timișoara, organizer of the short prose contest "When and how I felt that thing for Romania", was the host of the award ceremony of the winners, designated at the end of December. The event was attended by the Rector of UVT, prof. Dr. Marilen Gabriel Pirtea, UVT Vice-Chancellor, university associate. Dr. Octavian Mădălin Bunoiu, together with the designated winners and the members of the jury.
At the end of December, the jury that included Mr. Dr. Dorel Micle, from the Faculty of Letters, History and Theology, Mrs. Marilena Tudor, director of the UVT Publishing House and student Andreea Argeșanu, president of OSUT, went through the more than 30 papers sent and established the final ranking for the first places from each category of participants:

On the occasion of awarding the prizes, the Rector of UVT, prof. Dr. Marilen Gabriel Pirtea, declared: "The West University of Timișoara is involved not only in the training of intellectuals, but also in the fulfillment of characters. Part of this desire of ours is the public discussion about the values of the society we are part of. We are also happy to discover talented people who know how to present in a special literary form these ideas that concern us all. I congratulate the competitors and I am sincerely happy with the awardees today."
