"Green and safe economy in international RDI programs" - information session of the SupportTM center

The Western University of Timișoara, through the Support Center for participation in international projects - SupportTM, organized the information session "Green and safe economy in international CDI programs".

The info-day event focused on calls from the Cluster Climate, energy and mobility of the Horizon Europe Program (Cluster 5) and take place online, Wednesday, January 26, 2022, between 11:00 a.m. and 14:00 p.m..

During the information session, several topics of interest to the potential beneficiaries of the calls mentioned above were addressed:

· (1) Cluster 5 Horizon Europe: Climate, energy and mobility;

· (2) the role of the European Circular Economy Action Plan in addressing sustainable development objectives;

· (3) EIT Climate-KIC: financing systemic change for a zero-carbon economy. The presentations on them were made by specialists in the field of the university or some partner institutions, the session being accompanied by a question and answer section.

The support center for participation in international projects – SupportTM is co-financed from the European Regional Development Fund through the Competitiveness Operational Program 2014-2020, within the call for projects POC/80/1/2 – Creating synergies with RDI actions of the ORIZONT 2020 framework program of the European Union and other programs International CDI, in accordance with the financing contract no. 246/30.04.2020.

The SupportTM Center has the general objective of increasing the capacity of the university and partner entities to participate in European competitions for international research-development or innovation projects. In this regard, the SupportTM center offers support in terms of information on the opening of calls, identification of partners and preparation of funding requests.
