CSU West University of Timișoara participated in the National Snow Volleyball Championship between March 15-17, a competition organized by the Romanian Volleyball Federation and under the auspices of the FIVB and CEV, international forums offering points in the world ranking.
The CSU UVT team was formed by Sergiu Călin, Dragoș Unguraș, Lucian Bădiceanu and Sergiu Rodină.
On the way to the title, our athletes passed Westar Arad 1, Westar Arad 2, ASU Bucharest, CSU Reșița and Rapid/Știința Bucharest, thus obtaining the first national snow volleyball title won by CSU UVT.
The silver medals were won by CS Rapid/Știința Bucharest, and the bronze by CSU Reșița. Westar Arad ranked fourth.
