On interpretation, imagination and improvisation at FMT

The Western University of Timișoara runs several internationalization projects. Among them are the West University of Timișoara - Diaspora Guest Lectures / Workshops, which involves "the organization within UVT of 11 conferences and workshops (one event/faculty) with speakers from the Romanian Diaspora, which will contribute to the continuous professional training of UVT staff, by stimulating Romanian professionals from abroad to support the development of UVT human resources".

In this context, the Faculty of Music and Theater is pleased to invite you to the conference of Ms. university professor Dr. Violeta Dinescu (University "Carl von Ossietzky" from Oldenburg, Germany) on the topic "Interpretation, Imagination and Improvisation - concepts for the cultivation of musical creativity. Model created and applied in various contexts in the "Carl von Ossietzky" University of Oldenburg», a conference that will be followed by a dialogue with the teaching staff.

"In my presentation I will introduce our activity in the Music Institute of the "Carl von Ossietzky" University in Oldenburg, Germany, in order to prepare students for their jobs after finishing their studies", says Prof. Univ. Dr. Violeta Dinescu.

The "Carl von Ossietzky" University is distinguished by a complex initiative, which was the basis of its establishment in 1970. In the Institute of Music, methods of interpretation, imagination and improvisation are cultivated, which will become defining, on the one hand, in the activities of teachers in musical schools, and, on the other hand, in their musicological activities in various contexts.
