The UVT Faculty of Law team, winner of the most important national student competition in the field of law

Between April 13-16, the 2022 edition of the Hexagon of Law Faculties took place in Timișoara, the most prestigious national student competition in the field of law, organized annually between the teams of the law faculties of the University of Bucharest, "Babeș-Bolyai" University Cluj-Napoca, "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" University Iasi, "Lucian Blaga" University Sibiu, University of Craiova and West University of Timișoara, with the participation of the State University of Moldova (Chisinau) as a special guest. This year's edition of the competition included 3 scientific tests (Civil Law, Criminal Law, Constitutional Law) and brought together 70 students and professors from the seven faculties.

The competition was won by the team of the Faculty of Law from the Western University of Timișoara, which placed first in the general ranking. At the same time, the Faculty of Law from Timișoara obtained first place in the Civil Law test, through Anisia Coroamă and Iulia Ungureanu, coordinated by Mr. asist.cercet.dr. Maximilian-Andrei Druță and Miss drd. Alexandra Bob, second place in the Criminal Law test, through Adrian Coșa and Iasmina Drăguescu, coordinated by Miss Dr. Cristina Nicorici and Miss Dr. Ionela Bleahu and second place in the Constitutional Law test, through Dan Boișteanu and Daniel Jivi, coordinated by Ms. lect.univ.dr. Andreea Verteș-Olteanu. The results obtained by the Faculty of Law from Timișoara are part of the ascending line of participation in recent years at the Hexagon of Law Faculties, occupying in the general ranking of the competition the second place in 2013, the second place in 2015, the third place in 2016, the third place in 2017, second place in 2018, first place in 2019 and third place in 2021 (after the resumption of the suspended competition in 2020).
