The "student for a week" program in Biology and Chemistry

In the week of February 27 - March 03, three students from the "Nikolaus Lenau" Theoretical High School, Sara Șandor, David Mihuța and Daniel Roșu, proposed by Ms. Biology teacher Eva Boroș, were the protagonists of the "student for a week" activity , implemented within the Biology-Chemistry Department.

During this period, the students connected to the program and the specificity of the student status, lived for several days this new experience, with everything that the teaching activity at the academic level entails. The three students participated - even actively - in laboratory work, in courses, both in Biology and Chemistry subjects, as well as in the practical activities in the process of preparing the bachelor's theses.

In parallel, they were presented with the way in which the Department of Biology-Chemistry is organized, the study programs that work within this department, as well as the other aspects that the student period entails.

Teaching staff from the Biology-Chemistry Department integrated the students into the student groups and into the activities that were scheduled for courses or practical work, thus providing the framework including for socialization, to learn from the students what changes come with the acquisition of student status .

We hope that this experience was beneficial for the Lenau students and that it will be an additional argument for them in acquiring the real student status in a little while. Why not, precisely at one of the study programs within the Biology-Chemistry Department!
