Starting in 2021, the visual arts magazine Art and Design Notebooks / Design Art Papers is e publication indexed in International Databases (BDI) CEEOL, Central and Eastern European Online Library Germany, as a result of the efforts undertaken at the level of the management of the Faculty of Arts and Design, of the Department of Design and Applied Arts, as well as with the input of the collective Center for Research and Creation in Decorative Arts and Design. Born from the need for a specialized publishing space for the field of design and the arts in general, this magazine was established at the initiative of the Univ. Conf. Dr. Habil Iosif Mihailo, together with the art critic Prof. univ. Dr. Ioan Iovan and Lect. university Dr. Sergiu Zegrean. Art and Design Notebooks is a publication of Center for Research and Creation in Decorative Arts and Design (CCCADD) – Faculty of Arts and Design. Since the initiation, in 2014, the professional tour of Union of Visual Artists from Romania, Timișoara branch, the magazine being, therefore, also edited under its auspices UAP. The thematic profile of the magazine is submitted to the Domain Visual arts, including in this interval areas of interest, such as: art theory and criticism; plastic arts – issues of painting, graphics, sculpture; decorative arts – research in ceramics, textile arts; design – innovation and issues of product design, industrial, environmental, graphic, concept art, web design, as well as many other new forms of manifestation of contemporary art. A series of research results were published in the magazine Center for Research and Creation in Decorative Arts and Design and not only. The impact on the field, we believe, is significant, given the fact that there are not many magazines of this profile, at the national level. Member and Associate Research Results CCCAD they are included in the materials written by them and published in the magazine Caiete de Arte si Design.
