Last weekend "WePerform - Music and theater evenings", in the Children's Park and Traian Square

Third edition event series WePerform – Music and theater evenings it reaches the last weekend. Event production is part of the project At UVT, Culture is Capital! and is carried out by the West University Foundation, through the Faculty of Music and Theatre, the Faculty of Arts and Design and the Faculty of Political Sciences, Philosophy and Communication Sciences within UVT.

Series of performances WePerform – Music and theater evenings will end on the weekend of 24-25 with two concerts that will take place in the Children's Park, respectively in Piața Traian.

The schedule for the weekend of June 24-25 looks like this:

Saturday, June 24, Children's Park

  • 16:00 | Musical workshop for children facilitated by Iulia Lupaș and Alexandra Mahu
  • 17:00 | Percussion & Academica Brass II – percussion and brass concert

Both theater performances and classical music concerts are performed by undergraduate, master's and doctoral students enrolled in the Faculty of Music and Theatre. WePerform - Music and theater evenings is financed by the Municipality of Timișoara through the Project Center, as part of the cultural program "Timișoara 2023 - European Capital of Culture" and is co-financed by the Timiș County Council.
