The West University of Timișoara, in partnership with the Timișoara City Hall, is launching a new stage of public consultation, carried out within the "Quality of Life Barometer in Timișoara" project. This project, open to the Timișoara community, consists in carrying out a sociological survey based on a questionnaire, applied in a face-to-face and online component, in order to accumulate the opinions of over 1200 people.
The people of Timișoara over the age of 18 are invited to access THIS LINK to answer the questions of the questionnaire proposed by the Faculty of Sociology and Psychology from UVT.
Starting from 2016, the West University of Timișoara carries out this annual consultation, "The Quality of Life Barometer in Timișoara", with the aim of providing relevant empirical data for the local public administration, important for understanding the situation and social dynamics in the local community, in order to be able to guide public policies and to improve the impact of the city's strategic projects. The barometer is made according to the methodological norms in the field and ensures the anonymization of the personal data of those who provide answers. The research tool used in the "Quality of Life Barometer in Timișoara" is developed by a group of researchers in sociology, social geography and communication sciences from the West University of Timișoara. The questionnaire is structured on the analysis of the five dimensions used in the Quality of Life in European Cities Eurobarometer (satisfaction with the living conditions in the city, people's opinion of their city, satisfaction with environmental issues, satisfaction with personal life and the three most important problems of the city).
The organizers also announce a surprise for those who will fully answer the survey questions, fifty of them will be designated, by drawing lots, as beneficiaries of the vouchers that will be offered, with a nominal value of 100 lei.
