Last weekend, the UVT-Devron West Cycling Team was present at the Ziridava Road Race 2023, where they participated in two stages, one individual time trial and one long distance.
In the time trial stage, the UVT-Devron West Cycling Team riders achieved very good rankings:
- 1st place – Alexandra Cioclu (juniors);
- 1st place – Georgeta Ungureanu, to whom we welcome in Romania;
- 3rd place – Vlad Ramzing (U23) followed, at a difference of 0,03 seconds, by
- Erick Rogoz (U23), who thus obtained 4th place.
- 5th place - was Alin Toader (U23), and 6th place David Urs (U23).
In the Elite category, Arman Garibean finished in 7th place, and Andrei Sobennicov in 8th place.
In the cross-country race, after an exemplary fight by the whole team, the results were:
- 1st place – Georgeta Ungureanu (Elite F)
- 1st place – Alexandra Cioclu (Juniors F)
- 1st place – Erick Rogoz (U23)
- 1st place – Madalin Gaita (Master 1)
- 3rd place – Natalia Mănescu (EliteF)
- 3rd place – Alin Toader (U23)
- 5th place – Remzing Vlad (U23)
- 8th place – Mihai Babaita (Elite)
- 10th place – Andrei Sobennicov (Elite)
- 11th place – Arman Garibean (Elite)
Being a race that brings points that count for the Romanian Cup (accumulating the times from the counter-time and the distance), we are happy to announce the prizes for the UVT-Devron West Cycling Team riders in this ranking:
- 1st place – Alexandra Cioclu (juniors F)
- 1st place – Georgeta Ungureanu (Elite F)
- 1st place – Erick Lorincz Rogoz (U23)
- 4th place – Vlad Remzing (U23)
- 5rd place – Alin Toader (U23)
- 6th place – David Urs (U23)
To these results, the prizes awarded by the organizer, the Euromediu Association from Arad, were added, which we congratulate for the good organization. The UVT-Devron West Cycling Team is preparing in the next period to participate in the 2023 National Championships.
