The Association "Initiative in Education" together with the Western University of Timișoara is waiting for the students to a unique meeting together with the only Romanian cosmonaut, Mr. Dumitru Dorin Prunariu!
On Tuesday, December 19, from 10:00 to 11:00, you will have the opportunity to meet the only Romanian cosmonaut, Dorin Dumitru Prunariu. He participated in the Soyuz 40 mission of the "Intercosmos" space program and spent 7 days, 20 hours and 42 minutes in space.
This special event represents a rare opportunity to engage in direct dialogue with one of those who have explored the unknown outer space. You will have the chance to learn about the challenges, discoveries and emotions experienced during an extraordinary journey beyond the limits of the Earth.
Whether you are passionate about space, science or simply want to be captivated by the incredible story of space travel, this event is for you!
The event is dedicated to primary, secondary and high school students and will take place on December 19, 2023 at the West University of Timișoara, Aula Magna hall.
Activity details:
Date: December 19, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.;
From 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. classes can take photos and ask questions to Mr. Dumitru Dorin Prunariu.
Location: UVT, boulevard Vasile Pârvan, no. 4, Timisoara.
