The project "Universities and employers together. An integrated system of innovative educational programs” (POCU 310/6/21/121030), co-financed by the Human Capital Operational Program (POCU) 2014 – 2020, is approaching the end stage, with remarkable results in order to increase the quality and efficiency of university education.

The coordination and implementation team, involved in all the development and execution activities included in the project, was coordinated by: Univ. Conf. skilled dr. Marian D. Călin Octavian Micloșină (Expert implementation of activities, UBB Reșita) and Prof. univ. Dr. Eng. Laurentiu Milici (Activity implementation expert, USV).
The general objective of the project was to increase the quality and efficiency of tertiary and non-academic technical university education, in accordance with the requirements of the socio-economic environment, by implementing an integrated system of innovative educational programs and offers, quality assurance procedures and tools developed by collaboration between universities and employers, and dedicated to the pedagogical training of teaching staff, and the development of the professional and socio-emotional skills of students and trainees. The total value of the project is 5 lei, of which 794 lei is the EU contribution and 496,69 lei is the national contribution.
Project actions proposed to the target group student 11 complementary courses for the development of transversal and socio-emotional skills of students, as well as 2 professional training programs closely correlated with the local economic specifics (energy sector - Gorj, industrial sector - Caraș-Severin) of the partners implementing non-tertiary education programs - technical university. These educational offers took the form of an integrated system of innovative educational programs, developed and implemented through collaboration between academics and resource experts at the level of employers. Within this approach, programs for the development of pedagogical skills of the university teaching staff were cyclically integrated. The integrated system of programs also included non-formal activities of a professional support character, as well as procedures, monitoring and quality assurance tools for evaluating the impact of educational offers.
