The Western University of Timișoara, in partnership with the Swedish Embassy in Bucharest and Guerrilla Verde, organizes a series of events dedicated to sustainability and good Swedish practices, within the Timișoara Ideas Fest, a large-scale project dedicated to ideas and people who inspire communities.
Friday, October 14, 2022, will be a day dedicated to the importance of protecting the environment under the theme "Connections, intersections, perspectives: the Swedish model in sustainability". HE Therese Hyden, Sweden's ambassador to Romania, will be present at the events. Participants will be invited to debate challenging ideas and propose solutions for a more sustainable city, with green cultural events.
The activities will take place in the entrance hall and in A01, according to the following schedule:
10.30 - 11.00 - Opening of the ReWaste Exhibition – an exhibition with examples of good practice from Swedish society regarding waste management and its transformation into resources.
11.00 – 11.45 – Debate: Sustainable Practices from Swedish Companies in Romania
